The Voter Participation Center
The Voter Participation Center (VPC) is a project of Women’s Voices. Women Vote (WVWV). The VPC is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to increasing the voice of unmarried Americans by encouraging them to register, vote and participate in our democracy and civic life. Increasing voter registration and turnout of unmarried people in elections is critical to ensuring that the issues and concerns of unmarried women are heard in our democracy.
The VPC focuses on unmarried Americans because they represent the fastest growing demographic in America, yet they are under-represented in national elections and in our public policy debates. As a part of the VPC’s programs, we mail the National Voter Registration Application to individuals whom our lists show to be unregistered. These applications will be mailed across the U.S. as we seek to register and mobilize millions of American citizens to vote.
We make every effort to ensure those who we mail and contact to register are, indeed, not registered. However, if anyone who has received our application in error, we offer the opportunity to correct our information. If you have received our mail in error, please click here to unsubscribe.
We use the mail and the federal government approved form so that registration is convenient to you. No need to go to an official registration site, we bring the voting process to you.
